By supporting of Science and Technology Bureau of Shenzhen, International Workshop on Materials for Energy Conversion and Storage (MESC2012) will be held at Shenzhen form the afternnon of March 23 (Friday) to the noon of March 25 (Sunday), 2012. All participants are kindly asked to make the on-site registration in the afternoon of March 23 and all the academic activities will be arranged from the moring of March 24 to the noon of March 25. Scholars working on the related fields are cordially invited to attend the Workshop. MESC2012 is sponsored by the Graduate School of Harbin Instittute of Technology at Shenzhen, China, and the Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden. The Organizers will invite 20 ~ 30 famous scholars to give invited talks at MESC2012. If you want to present an invited talk at MESC2012, please contact us as soon as possible. If you need an invitation letter for visa application, please read the Visa Application page carefully. The deadline for asking for an official invitation letter is Feb. 20, 2012. Invited Speakers (to be added)	Abstract Submission and Registration If you plan to attend MECS2012, please complete the registration form and return it to mesc2012@sina.com before January 20, 2011. If you want to give an oral or poster presentation at the Workshop, please send an abstract (electronic copy in MS-WORD format) together with the registration form. The final Programme of MESC2012 and the details about the on-site registration, hotel information, and other information will be distributed before March 1, 2012. The registration fee for attending MESC2012 is RMB1600 (about EUR200). The registration fee should be paid on-site on March 23, 2012. If you prefer to pay it in advance, please contact the Secretariat for details about payment. Topics The topics which will be discussed during MECS2012 include: (1) Materials for solar cells (2) Materials for fuel cells (3) Materials for lithium-ion battery (4) Materials for Ni-MH battery (5) Thermo-electrical conversion materials (6) Hydrogen storage materials (7) Other materials for energy applications Proceedings The Organizers plan to publish Proceedings in Key Engineering Materials after the Workshop. If you want to publish a paper in the Proceedings, please pay the publication fees, RMB1500 per paper, when making the on-site registration. Then, you will receive a message before March 30, 2012, from the TTP publisher to inform you how to prepare and submit the full-length manuscript and the Copyright Transfer Form. Please note that the paper should be 4 ~ 6 pages in length. The authors who paid the publication fee will receive a copy of the Proceedings after it is published.
